My Little Man is 2!!

Ben's birthday was on Saturday and we had an awesome day. Here is a picture overload of all the fun and celebration.


We had a car birthday party so I decided to make him 2 of his own car cakes to eat. It was quite the project and I loved every minute of it! My mother in law and I spent at least 5 hours getting them done but the look on Ben's face when he saw them made it all worth it!





This is when Chad was carrying the car cakes to him. Make sure you click on the picture to see his face close up. He was so surprised!





He didn't quite get the concept of blowing out the candles yet so he ended up needing a little help, but other than that the cake eating went very well!

He was very timid to begin with. I love the look in his eye in this one. "Really I get to eat it? With my hands? Are you sure?"





"Ok I'll give this a try, are you still sure I won't get in trouble?"



TWENTY MINUTES LATER



He really ripped them apart! And he enjoyed it so much!




And he of course had helpers. My family was there and Chad's parents came from UT to be there and some friends were even there. We had a full house!



Everyone else enjoyed muddy cupcakes and some even had tires on them.




He made out like a bandit! He got so many new cars! What a spoiled little boy. This was the first time he really understood opening presents. He had fun!



But he couldn't keep the helpers at bay! I told Mallory that he gets to help her open her presents at her birthday parties now cause she wouldn't leave him alone!

This present is from Chad's Aunt its a car that starts its engine when you shake it. So mid unwrapping it suddenly roared to life and Ben was so surprised it was very funny! That is why he is pausing in this picture he didn't quite know what to do!



My sister Kara and brother Jimmy got put in charge of assembling his new train track. Thanks guys!



I had to throw this one in cause her face is just to funny! She can be a little stinker!!! Especially when she is not the center of attention!


But she is more often sweet and loving like this! What a cutie!!




Chad got Ben his first remote controlled car and he loves it so much! Its a good thing we are using rechargeable batteries in it cause he runs that car 24/7! I love this picture! I have such a dang cute family! Especially when I'm not in the picture to throw it off!



We didn't get many pictures of him looking at the camera cause he is such a busy little guy he never holds still long enough! I love you my little man!
