So here goes another question!!!
Do you have a favorite author? Why? Who? Tell about your favorite book as a child and as an adult.
Ok, so this is a good one. I love to read! When I was young I was a reading fiend! I read Little Women in third grade! I had an amazing third grade teacher who really saw the reader in me and helped me develop into the reader I am today. I won an award at Edison Elementary that year for the most pages read. So the school bought me a book, any book I wanted. I remember the agony of having to choose just one! I chose The Witches by Roald Dahl. I of course still have the book and it is definitely still a favorite. My favorite book ever is probably Harry Potter. I really wanted to come up with something original, but seriously nothing beats good old Harry. But here are a few that come really close. Pride and Prejudice, The Time Travelers Wife, Tennis Shoes Among the Nephites, The Hobbit, The BFG, Princess Bride, and Tuesdays With Morrie . If I had to choose a favorite author it would have to be Jack Weyland. I grew up reading all of his love stories. I remember my mom reading Charly to me while she lay in a hammock on one of many camping trips. I don't get to read as much as I'd like. I fall asleep every time I try reading once the kids are in bed, and they won't let me read during the day. But I still do as much as possible. I am reading The Host right now by Stephanie Meyer, weird but very good, hard to put down.

her books are always so good. did you ever get into the twilight series, the last one comes out on the 2nd!
For the past couple of years my favorite author is Beverly Lewis. She writes amish romances. I know it sounds a little odd, but I can't put down her books. I've even been known to let the house fall apart just so I can finish a book. Then 5 minutes before Neil comes home we clean up the messes and turn off the TV and pretend we accomplished a lot that day.
It sounds like we have very similar tastes in reading. The Time Traveler's Wife sounds interesting. A really good churchy one I finished last night was The Peacegiver. It was a very quick read and extremely inspiring. Do you like Sci Fi because another good one is the Ender's Game series.
