My Wonderful Weekend!

I had a great weekend! Conference was fantastic! It was really cool to be a part of such a wonderful historic conference. I don't know about you, but for me I really feel involved sitting on my couch in my jammies and raising my hand. I feel like I got to partake in something really special. Can I just say Uchtdorf is so cute! I love his talks and his accent! And of course I love Monson, who doesn't?

We also went to my parents house for Sunday dinner, it was my little sister's sweet sixteenth birthday. It was so fun. I am so glad to be here in AZ so we can be a part of family celebrations again. But now we have to miss the Miller's things, but I guess that is the way it goes. Its sad. My dad made the day very special for Kara, my baby sister. He bought a very special gun the day she was born for her. And he saved it and didn't fire it for sixteen years! He gave it to her yesterday and it was a very sweet tender moment. Yes I know, we are weird. Guns are so special to my family. He also gave her a promise ring, just like he did the rest of us girls and asked her out on her first date. It was so cute. It reminded me of my sweet sixteen, ten years ago!
